Welcoming a new member to the Catholic Faith is one of the most joyful experiences for a Faith Community. When Jesus chose to be Baptized, He affirmed the importance of openly declaring one’s Faith and becoming a part of the family of believers.

First time parents and those who have not completed a Baptismal Preparation Class within the past three years  must attend a class prior to the celebration of the Sacrament. 

Godparents should be practicing Catholics who are able to obtain a Letter of Recommendation from their parish. For more information on choosing godparents, click here.

Baptisms are typically not performed during Lent (from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday).
