Letters of Recommendation

For those who have been asked to be sponsors at Baptism or Confirmation, we gladly issue recommendations for Parishioners who:

  • have been confirmed
  • attend Sunday Mass regularly
  • if married, have done so in conformity with the laws of the Church
  • if they are parents, are sending their children to Catholic school or religious instructions
  • are registered at least 90 days.
(A registered Parishioner is the one who is enrolled in our census files.)

Sacrament of Baptism

Infant Baptisms take place on the third Sunday of the month at 12:30 pm. First time parents must attend a Pre-Baptismal Class held on the first Wednesday of each month. Call the Rectory office for reservations.

Marriages

Couples contemplating marriage must make and appointment to see the priest for the First Interview before a definite wedding date may be established.

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

The OCIA is offered for individuals wishing to become members of the Catholic faith or receive the Sacraments of Initiation outside the traditional age/grade levels. If you wish to learn more about this, please contact any of our clergy, Fr. Greg or Fr. Ryan, via the rectory at 716-674-3468 or email them at frgreg@qofhchurch.org or frryan@qofhchurch.org.
